Why this camp?

Unmatched Training Environment

Dominica is one of the premier freediving destinations in the world, and once you experience it, you’ll understand why. The bay offers calm, protected waters with no waves, no current, and exceptional visibility. We will train on a permanent platform equipped with a counter-ballast system and access to unlimited depth, all just a short swim from shore. It's a dream setup for progressing your dives with safety, comfort, and consistency.

The Right People, The Right Energy

This camp is built for certified freedivers who are ready to go deeper - not just in the water, but in their overall freediving experience. We keep our coach-to-student ratio low (no more than 3:1) so that every session is tailored to you. Whether your goals are technical, mental, or simply to reconnect with your love of diving, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Beyond the Line

This isn’t just a training trip - it’s an immersion. You’ll share meals, sunsets, laughter, and stories with other divers who care about the same things you do. You’ll explore the island’s waterfalls, hot springs, and wild beauty. And you’ll return home with not just better dives, but a deeper connection to yourself, the ocean, and your freediving journey.

About Dominica

Nicknamed the “Nature Island of the Caribbean,” Dominica is a volcanic island known for its untouched beauty, lush rainforests, and dramatic landscapes. It’s not your typical Caribbean destination - there are no big resorts or crowded beaches here. Instead, you’ll find hidden waterfalls, natural hot springs, vibrant marine life, and a welcoming local culture that values simplicity, sustainability, and connection to the land and sea. For freedivers, the conditions are near perfect - warm, clear water, protected bays, and dramatic underwater drop-offs.

About Soufrière

Soufrière is a small, colorful village on Dominica’s southwest coast, nestled between the green hills and the sea. It’s known for its calm bay (a marine reserve ideal for snorkeling and diving), laid-back energy, and breathtaking sunsets. Life here is simple and quiet (unless there is a festival!). Local fishermen haul in their catch, and the pace of life invites you to slow down and breathe. It’s a place where you’ll quickly feel like part of the community, whether you're cooking dinner with your new friends, soaking in a seaside hot spring, or enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the island.

About Your Team

This camp is led by Anastasia Devana, freediving coach and national record holder, known for her calm presence and highly personalized coaching style. With experience training everyone from beginners to elite athletes, she brings both deep expertise and a grounded, supportive energy to every session.

Our camp photographer, Allie Reilly, is a freediver, marine wildlife guide, and a visual storyteller who captures the quiet magic of the underwater world. You’ll come away with stunning group photos - and if you’d like, a chance to book a private photo session for truly personal memories.

We’re also partnering with Blue Element Freediving, Dominica’s premier freediving school. Their top-tier facilities and platform will be our training home, and additional experienced instructors from their team will join us - keeping the coach-to-diver ratio low, and the support high.
